2018/07/08: RMI ver02 is out. Because I forgot to put in the Basic/Light selection dialogue. (02b just fixes the dat folder pathing for 1.20, change "eff" to "stage_name" and you're good to go!)
2018/07/02: RMI is done! Finally! Make extra sure to reinstall the font for this version, I make use of new font features!
2018/07/01: Updated EE to ver04b because I accidentally deleted a text file. How unprofessional of me. :c

All of these patches follow similar instructions, but it is very important you follow them precisely! If you don't, you might get characters speaking in tofu or text going off of the screen, and that's no good. :c
- Ensure that you have the fonts Connecting Chain Handserif and MS PMincho installed! The patches use these fonts for the majority of in-game text.
- Connecting Chain Handserif comes with every version of the patch, in the same directory as the readme. Please please please install this font (we're at version 1.3 now), even if you've installed it before!! Newer patches come with updated versions of the font that add support for more characters and features, so it's very beneficial to overwrite your existing font installation.
- MS PMincho should come with your computer if it's equipped to type in Japanese. If it's not, you can grab it from Windows 10 Settings by going to Apps > Apps & Features > Manage optional features, then installing "Japanese Supplemental Fonts". This will also help with tofu box issues on the "MAX" text.
- Make a backup of the text_dat and text_img folders from your Len'en game installation, as well as your dat.led file, and unzip the patch folder.
- Copy the text_dat and text_img folders to your game folder, overwriting everything.
- Copy the dat.led file into the "dat.led patch" folder, and run patcher.bat to patch that file; then, move it back into your Len'en game installation.
- And you're done! If all went well, the whole game should be in English!

I don't mean to be mean with this section or anything, just to help clarify things and hopefully answer questions you may have! Basically, you can use the patch to play the game and record or whatever (obviously) The font is okay to use in your own projects (Danmakufu script, art, etc), as long as you give me credit. The patch's other graphics files, however, are off limits; this includes but is not limited to things like the sidebars, difficulty images, and boss title graphics. Also, no stealing my work or using it as a base for your own patch, but I really hope that goes without saying.
Or, more specifically:
Or, more specifically:
- You may use the patch in gameplay, including in recorded content (e.g. livestreams, videos).
- You may use the "Connecting Chain Handserif" font provided with the patch for anything you create, as long as you give credit to me.
- You may not use or redistribute any of the graphics I made in this patch in anything you create. Graphics made by JynX are not allowed, either, for reasons stemming from their terms of use.
- You may not redistribute this patch itself without prior approval from me, nor may you use files from this patch unmodified or as a base in your own patches.
Thank you to everyone on the wiki who helped with translating the games; no matter how small your contribution, it still helps bring us closer to completion!
